1989 to 1999         Taught Chemistry at Ardmore High School and Murray Sate College

1999 to 2013         Taught middle school & high school sciences at Velma-Alma School

2013 to 2014         Taught 7th through 12th grade science at Fox Public School                   

I am married to John Johnston and together we have four children.  Justin, the oldest, is doing what he loves and working as a cowboy along with his wife and four children.  Taylor (2008 Velma graduate) is currently serving our country in the United States Air Force.  Tanner (2011 Velma graduate) graduated from Cameron with a degree in communications.  Tanner, his wife Lauren and daugther Lily now reside in Glendale Arizona where they work and help with the Valley Life Arrowhead church startup.  Our youngest, Jaden Ty, is currently an 9th grader at VA.

I have spent my entire life living in the Fox Community.  I am proud to be able to consider both Fox and Velma as my home.
